Assorted people who competed in the 1900 Paris, France Olympics in track and field. Tecumseh's three founders all competed in the 1900 Olympics. The third person in the back row is George Orton who competed for his home country of Canada. The sixth person in the back row is Alexander Grant. The second person in the middle row is Josiah McCracken. These three men would later start Camp Tecumseh in 1903.

Orton won a gold medal in the 2500 meter steeplechase and a bronze in the 400 meter hurdles. McCracken won a silver medal in the shot put and a bronze in the hammer throw. CLICK HERE for the complete results of the 1900 Olympics in track and field.
