In the early days of Tecumseh, campers milked cows for their dairy supplies. The daily take was then moved to the Dairy House for refining. Olders campers milked 20 cows daily. Here Ralph Johnson is running the cream separator, yielding low fat milk for drinking and heavy cream for ice cream making.
