Campers and counselors assemble on the playing field of Shibe Park in Philadelphia, before
a New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Athletics game in 1930. In the background are several
players, including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmy Foxx and Al Simmons. The meeting with these
future Hall of Fame players was arranged by Howard Ehmke, a camper and counselor at Tecumseh
who pitched in the 1929 World Series for the Athletics and then retired at the end of the
series with a World Series ring ... To the far right is Tecumseh's Forrest L. Gager.
